A war of words between two of the biggest names in entertainment has exploded into the open — and it started with a lie detector test.
Jennifer Lawrence once called Kourtney Kardashian 'more annoying than ever.' Now Kourtney has fired back, and her reaction is absolutely brutal.
The Lie Detector Comment That Started It All

Back in November 2025, Jennifer Lawrence sat down for Vanity Fair's famous lie detector test alongside her co-star Robert Pattinson. When asked about the Kardashians, the Oscar-winning actress didn't hold back.
Lawrence admitted that Khloe was her favorite member of the famous family, but had a very different opinion of eldest sister Kourtney. 'Kourtney is more annoying than ever. She drives me nuts,' she confessed while hooked up to the polygraph.
Her complaint was about Kourtney's habit of announcing every personal decision. 'It's like, you know, I'm not going to wear outfits anymore. Like, just wear whatever you want. Don't make an announcement about it. Or like, I don't have a TV in my room. Like, just don't watch TV. Stop announcing it. Just shhh!'
Kourtney's Fiery Clap-Back Revealed

Kourtney finally addressed the diss during the Season 8 premiere of The Kardashians, which aired on Hulu on Thursday, October 8, 2026. And she was furious.
Speaking to her longtime friend Simon Huck, Kourtney revealed her raw, unfiltered reaction. She told her mother Kris Jenner that if Lawrence thinks she's one of the sisters, she would 'slap the s*** out of her' — adding, 'Invite her over and we can go at it, Kourtney and Kim style.'
Kourtney explained that the comment hit hard because she was going through a vulnerable time. She was at home breastfeeding and felt like everyone was ganging up on her during a particularly sensitive week when the show was airing.
The Secret Apology Email

Here's where the story takes an unexpected turn: Jennifer Lawrence eventually learned her comment had hurt Kourtney and reached out to apologize — privately.
Lawrence asked Kim Kardashian for Kourtney's email address and sent a personal message. 'I just feel like I'm one of your sisters,' the actress wrote, according to Kourtney.
Kourtney called the email 'so nice' and admitted that after rewatching the original Vanity Fair clip, she realized the comment 'wasn't actually that bad.' So it seems this celebrity feud may already be over before it truly began.
