Halloween does not officially arrive until Saturday, October 31, but celebrities have already turned the 2026 costume season into a full-blown competition. And this year, the biggest looks are not monsters or ghosts — they are other celebrities.
From Paris Hilton's jaw-dropping tribute to her friend Britney Spears to Kim Kardashian transforming into her own 13-year-old daughter, the stars went all out early. Here are the costumes everyone is talking about.
Paris Hilton Becomes Britney Spears — Again

Paris Hilton continued her beloved Halloween tradition by dressing as Britney Spears for the fourth consecutive year. This time she recreated Spears' iconic 2001 MTV Video Music Awards performance of "I'm a Slave 4 U" — complete with an albino Burmese python draped around her neck, just like the original moment.
"Britney is not only an icon, but also a dear friend, and I'll always love celebrating her and the incredible impact she's had on all of us," Hilton told Billboard about the look. The photos, shared exclusively with Billboard and then on her Instagram, instantly went viral.
Hilton did not stop at one costume. She later shared a second 2026 look inspired by Beauty and the Beast, dressing as Princess Belle alongside her whole family.
Kim Kardashian Transforms Into North West

Kim Kardashian did not have to look far for her Halloween muse — she dressed as her own daughter, North West. The reality star and Skims founder copied North's signature edgy style down to the details: a turquoise wig, long nails, facial piercings, and gothic clothing.
The look doubled down on Kardashian's public support for her daughter's creative expression. North's blue-haired aesthetic has sparked online debate recently, and her mom answered it the loudest way possible — by wearing it herself, black grills and all.
Fans flooded the comments within minutes, with many calling it the most talked-about mother-daughter costume swap of the season.
The Costume Triangle: North West and Natalie Nunn Swap Looks

While Kim was dressing as North, North was busy transforming into reality TV personality Natalie Nunn — complete with a dark bob wig, a prosthetic chin, and a "Baddies" necklace. Nunn then returned the favor, posting her own costume as North West in turquoise pigtails and a studded collar.
"Uno reverse," Nunn captioned her post, tagging North. The three-way costume exchange quickly became one of the most shared Halloween stories of the week, with fans calling it the ultimate Uno reverse card.
North later added a second look of her own, dressing as Raven from Teen Titans with a purple cloak and a red diamond gem on her forehead.
More Stars Go All Out Before Halloween Night

The early costume parade did not stop there. Cyndi Lauper transformed into Ursula from The Little Mermaid for a performance at the New York Restoration Project's annual Hulaween gala, while Chloe Bailey dressed as Meg Griffin from Family Guy and nearly broke the internet.
Travis Barker and Kourtney Kardashian went classic horror as vampires, Victoria Justice and her sister Madison Grace recreated the creepy twins from The Shining, and Janelle Monae stunned with a gruesome zombie look ahead of her annual Wondaween celebration.
Comedians Owen Thiele and Benito Skinner teamed up to recreate pop stars PinkPantheress and Zara Larsson, inspired by their hit collaboration and its music video.
With Halloween falling on a Saturday this year, even more stars are expected to reveal their costumes as the celebrations continue — and if the early looks are any indication, the best is yet to come.
