Sean 'Diddy' Combs is back in solitary confinement — and the reason is sparking outrage across the country.
A new report says his 'pampered' life behind bars was exposed, and officials acted fast. Here's what really happened.
Back in Solitary

According to a new report, Combs was placed back in solitary confinement after he had been let out of the isolated unit in August. The move came after a fight with another prisoner the month before, and after insiders claimed he was living a cushier version of prison life than anyone expected.
"This is not some normal stuff you see in jail," one source told NBC. "This is some rich stuff," the insider added, describing the rapper's day-to-day routine inside the facility.
The Camp's Response

Combs' representative pushed back hard on the claims, telling Page Six that the media is turning 'ordinary prison life' into headlines. "The only real news is that Sean continues to serve his sentence within the rules and he patiently awaits the court's decision on his appeal," the spokesperson said.
The Bureau of Prisons declined to comment on Combs' conditions, citing privacy, safety and security reasons — but confirmed that contraband remains a constant challenge inside its facilities.
How We Got Here

The three-time Grammy winner received his 50-month sentence in October 2025 after being found guilty of transportation to engage in prostitution. He is currently scheduled for release on January 21, 2028.
Meanwhile, a related story has re-emerged: friends of Cassie Ventura say she has made heartbreaking sacrifices — including leaving America — over private fears about what happens when Combs walks free.
