It started with a workplace romance that shocked morning television — and now Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes are officially one step closer to husband and wife.
The former GMA3 co-anchors have obtained a marriage license, nearly a year after announcing their engagement on their podcast.
The Marriage License Filing

Page Six can confirm that Robach, 53, and Holmes, 49, applied for a marriage license on September 18 in Washington County, Arkansas. TMZ was first to report the news.
The filing comes nearly one year after the couple announced their engagement on their Amy & T.J. podcast in October 2025.
"We are sharing with all of you that we are engaged, and we've been engaged for just about a month now," Robach said at the time. Holmes added that they wanted fans to hear it from them first: "We've learned that lesson, I guess, in the past about our relationship."
How It All Started

The couple's months-long workplace romance was revealed in November 2022, when they were both married to other people — Robach to actor Andrew Shue and Holmes to attorney Marilee Fiebig.
The bombshell affair led to the pair's exit from ABC in January 2023, with a network spokesperson telling Page Six it was "best for everyone" that the co-hosts-turned-lovers "move on" from the network.
In a twist worthy of daytime television, Shue and Fiebig have since begun dating each other.
The Road to the Altar

Robach and Holmes continued their relationship following their respective oustings, weathering the public storm together and launching their podcast, where they announced the engagement.
The former CNN correspondent noted that his fiancee had been publicly wearing her engagement ring in "crowds of tens of thousands" of people — and "nobody said a word."
Now with a marriage license in hand, the couple's four-year journey from scandal to serenity is heading toward its next chapter.
Why Fans Are Watching

Few celebrity relationships have played out quite so publicly — from secret romance to network fallout to a second chance at love. Their story has kept fans hooked for nearly four years.
A wedding date has not been announced yet, but with the license secured, fans expect details soon.
One thing is certain: whatever comes next, Amy and T.J. will tell it on their own terms.
