Sam Vance was an air cargo supervisor at a busy international logistics hub. During the peak night shift, a specialized climate-controlled crate carrying a rare, high-value consignment lost power due to a circuit glitch. Inside the crate was Duke, a retired service Golden Retriever being transported to a specialized sanctuary.
